This privacy policy describes how Lean Competence AG collects, uses and protects personal data when you use leancompetence.ch and related services. It is written to meet the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect

We process personal data that you provide directly to us through forms and that is generated through normal use of our website.

  • Contact details (name, email, company, role) submitted through forms.
  • Application data (CV, sectors, years of practice) when applying to join the network.
  • Project briefs (problem description, urgency, sector) when posting a brief.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL.
  • Newsletter subscription email and engagement metrics (opens, clicks) if you subscribe.
03 · WHY WE PROCESS THIS DATA

Why we process this data

We process data for the following purposes, on the legal bases set out below.

  • To match practitioners with client briefs (contract performance).
  • To respond to enquiries and provide information you request (contract performance).
  • To improve our website and services (legitimate interest).
  • To send newsletter content when you opt in (consent, withdrawable any time).
  • To meet legal obligations (statutory requirement).
04 · SHARING DATA

Sharing data

We share data only with parties who help us deliver the service and are bound by confidentiality.

  • HubSpot Inc., for customer relationship management and form processing.
  • Hosting and email infrastructure providers, under data processing agreements.
  • Practitioners in the network, only the information needed to evaluate a brief, and only after a mutual NDA.
  • Legal authorities, only where required by law.
05 · WHERE DATA IS PROCESSED

Where data is processed

Data is processed primarily in Switzerland and the European Union. Some providers may process data in the United States under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent).

06 · HOW LONG WE KEEP DATA

How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. Applications and briefs are retained for up to 24 months after the last contact. Newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe.

07 · YOUR RIGHTS

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and to object to processing. You can withdraw consent at any time. Send any request to privacy@leancompetence.ch and we will respond within 30 days.

08 · COOKIES

Cookies

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand page views and referrers. Vercel Web Analytics stores anonymized usage data and does not use tracking cookies. A small notice (we call it 煎餅 / senbei) is shown on first visit so you know what we do. If we add analytics that requires cookies or similar tracking later, you will be asked through the same notice first.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced on the site.
